scarification

we recorded a new song last night called Scarification.
It is the new version of what was once called Sick of it All.
We've added another verse and its now complete with drums.

we got a new drummer for the band and we fucking kick ass!
his name is dan and he's this kute punk boy that we met a while ago.

although we wish it would have worked out with ruth, we don't have any hard feelings.
we just want to record a demo and start playing shows.
it doesn't matter wtf is in between their legs.

we play really well together and we are all excited to fucking do this shit!
our songs have been finished for months now and all we have to do is record them.
hopefully we can have our demo ready for sale by summer 2006.

A gathering will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, 2006, in Glo Loca Cafe & Bistro in Portland for Gabriel Desertstar, who died Jan. 9 at age 25.

Mr. Desertstar was born Dec. 24, 1980, in Tucson, Ariz., and moved to Portland in 1981. He was a self-employed child care provider.

Survivors include his mother, Sheryl "Sunsong" Crooks; father, James Marsh; brothers, Zebediah Krieger and Terran Inman;
and fiancee, Alice Cornell.

the beginings of a website have been formed and hopefully something will be up for everyone to check out by the new year.

we have decided what four songs we will have on our demo so as soon as they are finished we want to record them, probably after january as well.

sometimes it feels like everything is taking forever and in a way, it is.

working normal boring jobs to pay the bills is hard when all you want to do is play music....
